I am pleased to note that despite the initial disaster, known as Realm, we have completed painting Punkinhead's room.
I think it turned out pretty cute, for the kid not having decent bedroom furnishings (dresser is in the closet, the bed is good, but the shelves are all rather chintzy).
His response was super cute: "This is MY room??????"

Relief indeed. You'll notice Charlie Brown's beer on the Sterilite drawers. Yeah. We needed it.

It looks adorable! My son has the Cars sheets -- but they are flannel. He is probably going to freak when they have to be put away for the summer.

ReplyDeleteWhen we added an extra bedroom we let our daughter take our old one because our son--the oldest--declined. We painted and fixed it up way cool and when my son saw it he said, "Hey, why don't I get this room, I'm the oldest?" I reminded him that last week he said he didn't want it. His answer: Last week I was dumb.
